IMADSPAIN Solution: INDUCTION DOSES

Medicine has advanced greatly in recent years in search of the most effective way to improve venous circulation and reduce undesirable effects.

Today, for cases that do not respond to drug treatment, techniques have been developed that offer a range of solutions for every situation.

IMADSPAIN has qualified, specialized professionals who apply the most innovative techniques without the need for surgery. These treatments provide patients with great relief, maximum safety and quick recovery.

The treatment is suitable for all types of varicose veins, both cosmetic and surgical.

Medication is delivered inside the vein’s lumen at very low concentrations so the vein is not destroyed; only the vascular wall is treated. After a maturation period, the vascular wall heals, the valves draw closer together, correcting their function and restoring proper blood flow once the prescribed time has passed.

Various medical techniques aim to eliminate varicose veins, but it’s important to note that in such cases the blood seeks another pathway and new veins appear elsewhere. With INDUCTION DOSES we restore the vein, repairing its wall so the valves come closer along its length. We restore health, slow vascular deterioration and, aesthetically, eliminate the troublesome varicose dilatations.

We cure the vascular problem, restore health and slow vascular ageing

Frequently Asked Questions

What are varicose veins?

Varicose veins are permanent venous dilations that occur when the valves inside the veins do not function properly and fail to facilitate venous return.

This accumulation of blood in the veins causes them to dilate, preventing them from fulfilling their normal function.

Blood returns to the heart through the compression of leg muscles on the elastic tissue of the veins, the retention of blood by venous valves, and the negative pressure of the thoracic region, which draws the blood back to the heart.

The vein is made up of elastic tissue, and inside it are venous valves shaped like swallow’s nests. When these valves deteriorate and the veins lose their elasticity, they can no longer effectively collect and transport blood to the heart. This leads to blood accumulating in the areas furthest from the heart, such as the legs, causing the vein walls to separate and form abnormal shapes like twisted cords, thick ropes, or so-called spider veins.

This is a progressive phenomenon that can affect other veins and repeat the process if the problem is not corrected, leading to new varicose cords and leg deformity.

Beyond being a cosmetic issue, varicose veins are fundamentally a significant medical problem that can cause pain, discomfort, and leg fatigue. Understanding their origin and treatment options is the first step toward combating them properly.

How do varicose veins develop and what types of varicose veins are there?

Cosmetic varicose veins

There are many factors that contribute to the appearance and development of varicose veins: hereditary factors, hormonal changes, diabetes, pregnancy, sedentary lifestyle, consumption of alcoholic beverages, smoking or excessive caffeine intake, obesity, prolonged standing, etc.

Two very common and clearly defined types of varicose veins usually appear: the so-called varicose cords and the so-called spider veins.

Vascular varicose veins

Varices vascularesVaricose cords are the highly visible, bulging veins that take on a beaded or rope-like appearance and are commonly treated with conventional surgery. They are often accompanied by changes in the skin color around the ankles and, in some cases, skin ulcers.

Spider veins, very common in women, are superficial and typically have a hormonal component.

The most common types are vascular and can vary greatly, but to understand them a bit better, let’s use a simple analogy: think of a natural tree, which is why it’s often referred to as the vascular tree. Trees have roots, a trunk, and branches of different thicknesses and lengths. If the disease starts in the roots or trunk, it tends to be more serious. But if it starts in the branches, the first thing you’ll notice is the falling of the leaves. Similarly, in the vascular system, the initial symptoms might include dilated veins, skin problems, cramps, itching, pigmentation, ulcers, or swelling in the limbs.

Depending on the type of varicose anatomy, the condition may present as either a cosmetic or a medical problem.

What are the symptoms of varicose veins and how are they diagnosed?

Doppler ultrasound

Varicose veins may initially appear as a cosmetic issue, but when they take the form of varicose cords or are accompanied by ulcers, it indicates an underlying venous disease that requires treatment.

Common symptoms include: heaviness, poorly localized pain, swelling, warmth, tingling, cramps, restlessness, and most notably, vein dilation and edema, which affect the appearance of the limb.

The most important diagnostic tool is a clinical examination performed by an experienced professional. This may be accompanied by a Doppler ultrasound to assess the extent and severity of the varicose veins.

Can varicose veins be prevented? Is exercise recommended?

Exercises

There is a certain genetic predisposition, so preventing varicose veins entirely is not always possible. A healthy lifestyle is recommended: avoid excess weight, do not smoke, maintain an active routine, and engage in physical activity appropriate to your age and medical condition.

Once varicose veins appear, it is best to have them assessed and properly treated by an experienced professional.

Exercise is beneficial and even advisable, but only low-impact activities. Sports involving intense effort such as spinning, long-distance running, or competitive cycling may not be ideal.

In summary, physical activity should be suited to the patient’s age and overall health.

Can high heels be worn?

Frankly, high heels are not advisable for anyone, but in the case of varicose vein problems, it is especially important to take precautions. After wearing high heels, it is recommended to do some foot exercises to stimulate blood flow, such as rolling a tennis ball under the sole of the foot.

How can varicose veins be treated?

TYPES OF TREATMENTS THAT ARE COMMONLY PERFORMED

  • LASER: Applied locally to very small varicose veins (known as spider veins) and is not suitable for all types of varicose veins.
  • SCLEROTHERAPY: Used for small or medium-sized varicose veins. This treatment causes sclerosis or complete scarring of the treated vein, which becomes a compact cord through which blood no longer flows.
  • SURGERY: This refers to saphenectomy, which involves the removal of varicose veins from the superficial venous system. Through this surgical procedure, varicosities are permanently extracted.
  • IMADSPAIN SOLUTION – INDUCTION DOSES It involves the application of medication in foam form inside the vein’s lumen. The vein’s integrity is respected, aiming for its healing and progressive recovery.IMPORTANT: This is not a treatment, but a therapeutic method that improves the venous system by applying conventional medication in a different way.
